I redesigned an older Windows Client application that was core to the company's business. The application was cumbersome, requiring an eight week training program and an overwhelming amount of keyboard shortcuts and processes to remember. The goal was to cut the training period drastically down and increase employee satisfaction, thus increasing employee retention.
I conducted in person interviews, designed a visual hierarchy and design patterns to be used for future applications, developed a plan for usability testing, and was able to get full buy-in.
